I am a PhD student from College of Arts, Media and Design(CAMD) at Northeastern University, Boston MA, and advised by Prof. Wallace Lages. Currently I am working as a graduate research assistant at Reality Design Studio.

Before coming here, I worked as a lecturer of Computer Science and Engineering at United International University (on leave). I completed my B.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) in CSE from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, where I was supervised by Dr. Khalad Hasan and Dr. Farida Chowdhury.

My current research interest lies in the intersection of Extended Reality(XR), Embodied Cognition, and Human Robot Interaction(HRI), with a focus on interactions within extended reality. More specifically, I seek to understand how mixed reality and multisensory integration impacts human experience, perception, and cognition; and design techniques and devices to extend our abilities to manipulate the real world, and improve our experiences in both virtual and real worlds.

My previous works include augmented and virtual Reality (AR/VR), eye interaction, interactive user interfaces with a focus on enhancing immersive experience. My work also include Social Computing, CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) and Human Cognition. Through interdisciplinary approach, I seek to push the boundaries of human-centered design and create systems that are both functional and impactful.
