I am a researcher and designer working at the intersection of Extended Reality, Embodied Cognition, and Human-Robot Interaction.

My work begins by questioning the sensory and motor limits of the human body, bounded by space and time. As humans are bound to one place, one moment, and one set of senses, we can only touch what is within arm's reach, only perceive what falls within our sensory thresholds, and only inhabit the present as it passes. I am interested in what happens when technology dissolves those boundaries. How persuasively can one haptically and imaginatively sense another time, another space, and another dimension of the physical world?

Through interdisciplinary approach spanning mixed reality, multisensory integration, and mediated agency, I seek to understand how technologically extended perception reshapes human experience and cognition, and to design interfaces and instruments that expand our ability to act upon the world beyond the body's native reach.

Currently, I'm pursuing a PhD at the College of Arts, Media and Design(CAMD) at Northeastern University, Boston MA, and am advised by Prof. Wallace Lages. I am also working as a graduate research assistant at Reality Design Studio. Before coming here, I served as a lecturer of Computer Science and Engineering at United International University (on leave). I completed my B.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) in CSE from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, where I was supervised by Dr. Khalad Hasan and Dr. Farida Chowdhury.
